Strength Level: Due to the effects of the alchemical serum he drank, Nighthawk posessed superhuman strength whenever the Earth blocked from his body the direct rays of the sun. At night he could lift about one ton. In daylight, Nighthawk posseses the normal human strength of a man of his age, height and build who engaged in intensive regular exercises.
Known superhuman powers: In addition to his superhuman strength, the alchemical serum that Nighthawk drank increased his endurance to at least five times that of an Olympic whenever Nighthawk was away from direct sunlight. His practical reaction time when he was away from direct sunlight was approximately double that of an average human being.
Abilities: Nighthawk is a moderately skilled hand-to-hand cambatant.
Paraphernalia: Nighthawk employs a jet powered artificial wing system similar to (but not as miniaturized as) that used by the Falcon. The maximum practical speed at which the jet engines could propel him and still allow him to breath was about 120 MPH. The wing jets enable him to carry enough fuel for 16 hours of continuous use. He could reach a maximum altitude ot 30,000 feet althought he had difficulty breathing at heights over 24,000 feet.
