the Abomination continues...
X-Man #20- flashback- The Abomination finds Threnody alone and crying in an alley. She had just discovered her mutant powers. Abomination picks her up and takes her into the sewers with the others.
X-Man #20- flashback- Abomination seen sitting by Threnody’s side as the others feed her. Threnody’s power accidentally kicks on and the two feeding her are vaporized. Abomination would have killed her then, but there were children watching.
Namor #58- The Organizatsiya kidnaps Nadia Dornova, Emil Blonsky’s “widow” and then has agents wandering through the sewers looking for the Abomination. They find a homeless man and tell him to show them where the giant green man is. Abomination stands in front of the man and says that they just bought themselves some trouble. Abomination advances on them, but one holds up a picture of Nadia and says that they have an offer he cannot refuse. Abomination agrees and asks where they want him to go. Namor had just driven the Avengers back from a sunken submarine that is leaking gamma radiation from a damaged missile when the Abomination arrives. He suggests that they get out of his way because he has a job to do, and he isn’t real happy about doing it.
Namor #59-
Abomination decks Namor. Namor grabs Emil’s throat, but
Abomination follows up with a left. Triton and Andromeda each
grab one of Abomination’s arms, but Emil simply brings his
arms together and knocks both their heads together. Stingray says
that he is sure they can reason this out. Abomination says that
he is taking that nuclear sub and leaving, or he’ll stay
long enough to kill them all and then go. Stingray follows a lead
from earlier and looks for a wave distortion that he spotted.
Stingray finds the people that are holding Abomination’s
wife, but they also manage to get a hold of him. Abomination and
Namor are fighting back and forth when a ship arrives holding
Stingray. Namor starts creating a whirlpool around Emil and he
starts to spin around and around. Finally Emil claps his hands
and the shock wave disrupts the whirlpool. Emil grabs
Namor’s foot and throws him so high he throws Namor clear
out of the water. Abomination leaps up after him. Abomination
leaps onto Namor, but Namor swims right back down to the bottom.
He has Emil pinned, but then the Organizatsiya tells Namor that
they have Stingray and will kill him if Namor doesn’t
cooperate with Abomination. Abomination says, “Welcome to
the club pal.” Andromeda and Triton wake up and free Nadia
and Stingray. The Organizatsiya makes a run for it, but
Abomination says that he is getting rid of the
Organizatsiya’s artificial island and the old sub. Namor
tries to grab the detonator, but Emil hits Namor and says
goodbye. Abomination detonates the submarine, but Triton was
still inside it. Later Bogatin surfaces to find that all of his
men are dead. Abomination grabs him as he stands in the
sub’s open hatch. Bogatin asks if Abomination really is Emil
Blonsky. Abomination says that he will never know right before he
kills him.
Marvel vs. DC #4- Abomination faces off against Elektra and Catwoman in Central Park. Abomination is stunned, as it appears that the sky is bleeding.
Incredible Hulk vol. 2 #431- As a news crew tell the
story of how Police Commissioner Ferris has ordered that the
sewers be cleared out of homeless and criminals the police spot
what they think is an alligator and start shooting at it. The
alligator turns out to be the Abomination. They shout to kill
“it”. Abomination marvels at them coming down into his
home with guns, uninvited and unwanted, and calling him an
“it”. As Abomination knocks the police about he says
that they are trying their luck, and his patience. Abomination
shouts to leave them alone. A figure in the shadows behind tells
them that he is serious. Abomination looks back startled. Mister
Christopher threatens Police Commissioner Ferris to clear the
tunnels for his drug trade or else. Later as Sandy brings some
food to the homeless Emil tells her that he said that it
wasn’t safe for her to visit for now. Sandy says she likes
helping and talking. Emil says that there is going to be more
attacks and soon. When the police and Hulk arrive Abomination is
unimpressed with Hulk’s hat and coat disguise. Hulk tells
Emil to let the woman go. Emil says that the woman is none of
Hulk’s concern, and that if the police are there to do their
job, then he will have to do his. Abomination leaps at Hulk. As
they fight one of the homeless guys doubles back and steals a
gun. When he fires at the police the police start to unload on
him. Abomination runs to the scene saying that they were all
supposed to get far away. Abomination arrives to find scores of
his homeless friends dead or dying. Hulk tries to talk to Emil,
but Emil hits him and grabs the cop that starting the shooting
back. Abomination quickly kills the guy, and then turns his
attention to the Hulk.
Incredible Hulk vol. 2 #432- 
Abomination tells Hulk that they all had to keep
pushing, and now it’s too late for anything but death and
destruction. Abomination releases steam into the tunnel. He hits
Hulk in the face. He says that they both live in the darkness,
but that Hulk denies it and Emil embraces it. Hulk catches a
glimpse of Abomination and charges. Abomination wraps Hulk’s
head in his cape. Abomination says that you get used to trusting
your instinct down there. Abomination tells Hulk to leave him to
finish this. Hulk hears in the distance as Emil tries to grab the
other cop that was in charge. The cop grabs Sandy and points his
gun to her head. He says to freeze or…but Emil cuts him off.
He says that they are all dead down there anyway. He says that
when people above look at them they look right through them as if
they weren’t there. He says they’re all dead, but that
there is always room for more spirited company.
Abomination points out that the cop is no better than
the homeless are when push comes to shove. He takes a hostage to
survive like the homeless strive to survive. Sandy tries to calm
Emil down, but Emil says that none of it matters anymore…not
even her. Hulk pounces on Emil. Emil tells Hulk that he is a
fool. He says that with all humanity has done to him that he
should be down there with him. Hulk says he isn’t ready to
write off humanity. Abomination punches Hulk out through the
roof, and into the daylight. Abomination says that they’ve
written Hulk off. Abomination leaps up after him. Abomination
says not to try that “play by the rules” stuff because
Hulk just does as he feels and rationalizes it when it goes
against the rules. Abomination says he pities Hulk because he is
free, and Hulk is not. Abomination leaps onto a news helicopter,
and the Hulk is forced to follow. Abomination kicks Hulk off. He
looks right into the news camera and says, “whatever happens
now, whatever I do, whoever I ally myself with to bring you all
down…know this…you brought it on yourselves.” Hulk
leaps back up to the copter. Emil says that if Hulk lets him kill
the reporters he will go quietly, and that it will be nothing
compared to what he will do in the future. Hulk saves the people.
Hulk dives into the water to look for Emil, but he is of course
gone.
X-Man #19- Threnody is being held prisoners by Mister Sinister’s agents Arclight and Scalphunter inside the sewers. Arclight and Scalphunter are off having sex when Threnody tries to escape. Arclight and Scalphunter confront her. They say that it doesn’t look like Nate Grey is coming for her. Suddenly from behind Arclight and Scalphunter the Abomination arrives.
X-Man #20- 
Abomination carries Threnody back to the sewer. Threnody
wakes up and yells at Abomination to put her down. Above ground
Nate Grey is looking for her. Threnody tells Emil that she is
gaining control of her powers now. Emil says that he
couldn’t tell by the way those two mutants had her captive.
Emil sits in his chair and introduces Threnody to Roust and
/joust, the two newest of the Forgotten. Watts and Cole also see
her. Emil says that there are now ore than ever with him. He
tells her that she may take what she needs from the scavenged
goods only after the others are finished. He says that after that
she is to get out as she is no longer welcome there. A fight is
starting to break out when Nate Grey finally arrives.
Abomination’s pack starts to attack him, but he pushes them
all back. Abomination runs up and hits Nate through a wall.
Abomination says that Threnody has betrayed them again and led
another stranger to the last haven for the Forgotten. He says
that she knows the penalty for betraying them again. Nate Grey
comes back and tells Threnody to move. Abomination leaps at Nate,
but he holds Emil up with his telekinetic power and then smashes
him into a wall. Nate reads Abomination’s past with Threnody
and Emil warns him about her. Nate tells Emil that Threnody
didn’t hurt those people on purpose, but Emil breaks off the
wall and smashes Nate. He jumps onto Nate’s face, and then
starts swinging Nate around by his feet. Emil keeps smashing his
face into walls and then leaves him there. Abomination walks off,
but then we see that Nate Grey just allowed Emil to see what he
wanted so he wouldn’t have to fight him.
Abominations #1- behind the scenes- Abomination’s homeless are in a face off with the police as travelers from the Maestro’s time arrive in the middle of it.
Abominations #2- The travelers help the homeless against the police. As the police and homeless start to fight Betty-6, who is supposedly pregnant with the Maestro’s baby, is shot in the chest. The fighting escalates and the Abomination arrives. The Forgotten arrives with him and throws some smoke grenades. When the smoke clears Abomination, the homeless, and the time travelers are gone. Abomination yells at the homeless. He asks them when they will learn that they are not wanted up there. Abomination realizes that they aren’t even listening to him so he sends them away. Po, one of the time travelers that was knocked out in the fight earlier, wakes up. He sees the Abomination and freaks. He grabs a pipe and leaps at Abomination’s head.
Abominations #3- Po smacks Abomination right in the head with the pipe. He even lets him get a second shot in, but then he decides that it is enough and decks him. Po’s friend Sleek has his reprogrammed Wardog Mok bark sonic barks at Abomination. Abomination says that he doesn’t know what their problem is, but they are going to wish they had never seen him. Abomination says that he saves them from the police and invites them into his home and this is how they repay him. Abomination punches the Wardog, and ties up Po and Sleek with a pole. Abomination asks how the birth is coming. The woman watching over the Betty says that it will be okay. Suddenly Shulk arrives. She throws down the robotic legs of one of the time travelers who ran during the fight. The top half of the guy says not to tell her anything because she is an assassin that is here to kill the Betty. Shulk admits that she is and that she has someone to assassinate. Abomination says that as long as the woman is in his home that she is under his protection. Shulk punches Abomination through a wall. When Abomination wakes up Shulk has been killed by her companion Kaspin to prevent her from hurting the baby. Shulk calls Abomination over to her. She whispers one thing in his ear and then dies. Later Abomination makes a grave for Char and Jennifer Walters (she told him her name when she died). Abomination will go there occasionally and his eyes will get very wet.
X-Man #32- flashback- When Abomination brought back Threnody to their lair the X-Man comes and gets her. A psycho named Jack Cole, that stayed with the Forgotten who hears voices in his head, snaps and he kills the Forgotten. ..
Incredible Hulk vol. 3 #24- flashback- Emil is seen injecting his poisoned blood into the machine that leads to Betty’s sickbed.
Incredible Hulk vol. 2 #466-(behind the scenes)-it's later revealed that Abomination caused Betty's death by transfusing a bag of his poisoned blood into her veins.
Incredible Hulk vol. 2 #468-Bruce discovers it's not his DNA that killed Betty. He hulks out however, before he can find that Abomination's blood killed Betty.
Incredible Hulk vol. 2 #472- Devlin D’Angelo has joined up with Thunderbolt Ross by virtue of his Gamma Tracker that is supposed to be able to find the Hulk within 500 miles. Ross is about to boot D’Angelo after two days of failure, but one of his “boys” runs in and says that they have found the Hulk in a town called Constellation, Arizona. They arrive at the town and see that the town is completely razed. Ross goes after him alone with two handguns…groan. Two Guns Ross follows footprints and despite the fact that Abomination has two toes Ross is stunned to see that the Abomination, and not the Hulk, has destroyed the town.
Incredible Hulk vol. 2 #473- Abomination hurls a tire off a car at Ross as Ross shoots at Abomination. Abomination then rips the car in half. Abomination is rambling literary quotes to himself. Ross tells Abomination to surrender himself for destroying the town. Abomination charges Ross. Ross shoots at Abomination, and (I can only imagine) hits Abomination in the eye with a bullet because Abomination is bleeding. Suddenly the bubble in his brain must shrink because Gung Ho Ross realizes that his guns are useless and runs for cover. Ross holds his gun on Abomination and tells him that the army is surrounding the town. Abomination says to bring them on, but then realizes who Ross is. Abomination tells Ross that he is the one that killed his daughter.
Incredible Hulk vol. 2 #474- Ross is visibly shaken. Abomination knocks the gun out of Ross’ hands. Abomination says that for many years the hate he and Hulk had for each other distracted them both from how ugly they both were. Abomination says that then the Hulk got married. He says that despite Hulk’s ugliness his wife loved him. Emil says that when he was just a man his wife loved him. He searched for ways to fill the void, but found nothing. Abomination grabs Ross. Ross tells him to do it. Abomination tells Ross to picture the happy couple. He says that even he considered their union invulnerable, but then Betty became sick with some malady. Abomination monitored the situation, and when everyone thought she was in the clear Abomination put a bag of his chemically pre-treated gamma-poisoned blood onto Betty’s IV. She never stood a chance. Abomination lets Ross fall to his knees. Abomination says that now Betty is gone, as is his Nadia. Suddenly the Hulk arrives and hits Abomination. Hulk says he is going to kill him, but then Hulk sees Ross holding two guns (that he says might be something special) on both of them. Ross tells Hulk to leave the Lizard Man alone. Abomination tells Ross that he is no longer needed and that he or Hulk will have their retribution. Hulk says he doesn’t think so and that he isn’t going to play Emil’s game tonight. Hulk points out that there are tanks all around him. For some reason this holds weight with Abomination and he leaps away.
Incredible Hulk vol. 3 #24- flashback- After his showdown with the Hulk Abomination walks alone through the woods. He goes off to sleep underwater on the floorbed of some body of water.
