Emil
Emil is the
future version of the Abomination. When Hulk turns into the
Maestro, Abomination turns into Emil. Like the Maestro,
Abomination soaks up a lot of gamma radiation after the wars.
Emil appearance has vastly changed and his battles with the
Maestro have left him a little worse for the wear-- without one
eye and one hand.
Abominations #1- flashback- Emil and Shulk team up against the Maestro, but Maestro defeats them and then goes on to murder three villages to show how dominant he was.
Abominations #1- 
Weeks after Maestro’s demise his gravity police are
walking through the swamps looking for supplies and clean water.
Emil emerges from the swamp. He says that they are going to
answer his questions or he will eat them all personally. He finds
out that they are from Castle Maestro. Emil asks if the old
monster lives. They say that he is missing and presumed dead.
Emil laughs and then tells the mutates in the swamp to come eat.
They say that Emil promised them, but Emil corrects him and says
that he promised that he wouldn’t eat them but that he never
said the others wouldn’t. Abomination and the an army of
mutates attacks Castle Maestro. The mutates break down the walls
and Emil defeats them all. Emil tells the mutates that from now
on they won’t eat from the garbage, but take what is
rightfully there. Kaspin, a small child with mental powers that
acts as Emil’s vizier, interrupts Emil and tells him that
“she” is upstairs. Kaspin leads Emil to her, and Emil
rips off the door to the sarcophagus. Kaspin says that he thinks
she has been in there for seven years. Emil takes her out and
vows vengeance on Maestro and any trace of him. Emil puts Shulk
in the royal bedchamber. The mutates find a woman that claims to
be pregnant with Maestro’s child. Emil says that Maestro
will have no progeny as long as he is alive. He orders her found
and killed. Emil says that her carcass will be a wedding present
to his bride. Betty-6 and the others escape by traveling back
into the past.
Abominations #2- Emil has Janis captive. He asks her again where the Betty is, but when she won’t tell him Emil has Kaspin torture her with his mental powers. Kaspin begs Janis to tell Emil want he wants to know. Janis refuses. Emil walks out and tells Kaspin to make sure that she is in as much pain as possible until she tells them what they want to know. Emil goes and checks in on Shulk. He brushes her hair with his hand, but Shulk is awake and hits him. She yells not to touch her. Emil says that she can resist now, but that in this world he is king, and she will be his queen or die. Kaspin stays with Emil because he thinks there is good in him, but he doesn’t want him to kill the Betty or her baby. Kaspin releases Janis. Shulk stands next to Emil’s throne as Kaspin goes and tells Emil that he let Janis get away. Emil throws Kaspin against the wall and tells him to find and kill Janis. A bounty hunter named Quarry offers to kill Janis for him. Emil says that Quarry has three hours to kill Janis, and if he does he gets a reward and he won’t kill him. Emil says that when Quarry finds and kills Janis and the Betty that the world will finally be his. Emil leans in close to Shulk for a kiss. Shulk boxes Emil’s ears and knocks him out. Shulk says that it is Emil’s world and says goodbye.
Abominations #3- Emil sits on his throne as mutates
present tribute to him. One of the mutates presents him with a
human. Emil asks what they have hear. He says that he thought all
the humans had been flushed out and killed. Emil asks her if she
would like to be a soufflé or broiled with mushrooms. The human
says that there isn’t very much “human” left of
her, and that she has many talents. The woman says that she is a
cybertech, and that she can create prosthesis and extensions.
Emil looks at his missing right hand. Later Emil emerges with a
new hand and eye. The woman Emil now calls Unit asks if he is
pleased. Emil says that for the first time in a long while he
actually feels “spiffy”. Unit confirms that the Betty,
Janis, and Shulk have all escaped via a time machine. She asks if
Emil really wants to destroy it since he too could go back. Emil
orders it destroyed and says that the past is the past.
