Marvel vs. DC #3- Hulk vs. Superman II-

There are these two giant things that represent Marvel and DC... so people from Marvel and DC have to fight... pretty original right? I may be biased, but I would think that Superman against the Hulk might be a big deal as far as Marvel against DC went. There are four issues to the series and the granddaddy of all fights takes up a whopping three pages. Hulk loses. Now while I will admit that Superman probably should win I should point out a few hedges as a Hulk fan.

1- The fight should take more than three pages

2- This version of the Hulk is the Savage Banner version. Once the Hulk gets angry enough... instead of getting stronger... he gets weaker. He changes back into his Bruce Banner form. So Hulk wasn't getting stronger as he was getting angry... which would be necessary for the Hulk to win.

3- This lame story was little more than a popularity contest. At the time Superman was starring in four books and the Hulk had one. It doesn't take a genius to figure out who would win. In this same issue, Wolverine beats Lobo... Lobo... who once beat Superman unconscious. Also in this issue Storm defeats Wonder Woman... you know... Wonder Woman who is second in strength only to Superman... by hitting her with lightning... sigh... fans are dopes.
