Superhuman physical powers: Superhuman strength, stamina, and durability. Hulk posesses an incredible healing factor. Hulk also posesses the ability to leap 3 miles in a single jump (this number is highly subjective as Hulk has managed to nearly jump out of Earth's atmosphere). Most importantly Hulk has an ability to get stronger as he gets madder.

Superhuman mental powers: Hulk posesses the ability to see ghosts and astral forms. He also formerly had the ability to find the New Mexico desert. This was explained to be the Maestro, who had been there since the original gamma bomb went off, calling out to him. Since then Maestro has moved from the site and it is unclear if Hulk still posesses this ability.

Special limitations: Savage Hulk is often transforms back into Bruce Banner. Most often it occurs because the Hulk has calmed and is no longer producing the rage needed.

The Savage Hulk is perhaps the most powerful of the incarnations of the Hulk. Savage Hulk was created from the time of Banner's life in which his father, Brian, killed his mother, Rebecca. Bruce never vocalized his pain so he allows the savage Hulk to do it. This is why this Hulk acts in such a childlike manner. He is egocentric, thinking the world revolves around him, and usually wants to be left alone. This might also explain why the savage Hulk is perhaps the most powerful version of the Hulk, save for the mindless Hulk. The murder is the most painful time in Bruce's life. Since this Hulk is rooted in that time period perhaps the savage Hulk's rage is feuled by it making him stronger any of the others.
