Patchwork is the first gamma being created with a link to his sexual repression. He is called Patchwork because he after he kills to women he sews together composite corpses. Patchwork is trying to make the "perfect girl" by piecing perfect parts of girls together. Kyle Barker was a normal kid who attended Empire State University in the photography department until he was exposed to a gamma accelerator, the same accelerator that transformed Geiger, that exposed his innermost shame

Doc Samson #4-flashback- Kyle Barker as a young child getting caught with "girlie magazines" by his grandmother. She threatens to cut off his fingers if he touches them again, and then cut the rest of him too.
