Secret Wars II #2- She-Hulk and Wyatt are arrested in the back of a police wagon. She-Hulk asks Wyatt why she shouldn’t rip apart the truck. Wyatt says that doing that will only make this worse. Later while She-Hulk is fighting the Hate Monger with the Fantastic Four when the Beyonder shows up. Susan Richards grabs the Hate Monger, but She-Hulk spots the man powering Hate Monger, the Psycho-Man. She tries to grab him, but Psycho-Man teleports out as she reaches for him. She-Hulk walks back to the group just in time to watch Scourge kill Hate Monger. She-Hulk tries to console the injured Susan Richards as Reed talks with the Beyonder instead of her.

Fantastic Four #280

Fantastic Four #281- She-Hulk wakes up from her defeat. She says that she hurts too much to be dead. She-Hulk recalls her defeat to Malice. She-Hulk realizes that she couldn’t reach Malice almost as if she had a force field. Suddenly She-Hulk realizes who Malice is. Elsewhere Reed breaks the hold on Susan restoring her to her own mind.

Secret Wars II #2

Fantastic Four #282- She-Hulk asks if Reed has finished with his machine. Reed says it took him longer than he wanted, but it is ready. She-Hulk remarks that it was one of the most complex machines they had before their headquarters destroyed, and that it took him under six hours. Reed says that he isn’t sure they should use the reducto-craft now that they know the Beyonder is on Earth. She-Hulk says she thought Reed said they wouldn’t matter against the Beyonder, that he was too powerful. She-Hulk watches as Sue freaks out and demands vengeance against Psycho-Man. She-Hulk moves the reducto-craft into place. They get in and shrink down into the Micro-verse. They arrive at their destination, but are trapped by the Psycho-Man.

Fantastic Four #283- She-Hulk calls out from her cell to her captors. She tells them to open her door before she rips it off and wraps it around their necks. They open the door. She-Hulk starts demanding answers. The guard is very amused. She-Hulk threatens him again, but the guard only replies saying “boo”. She-Hulk cringes in fear. The guard taunts her and She-Hulk collapses against the wall afraid. The guards marvel that the effect of Psycho-Man’s fear ray is so effective hours after she was exposed to it. He says that She-Hulk is fodder for the mines Nuvidia. Elsewhere Reed defeats the Psycho-Man, but they don’t know what happened to the She-Hulk. In the mines She-Hulk pulls a cart carrying her captor.

Fantastic Four #284- She-Hulk is lifting a giant cart full of rocks when she is distracted by the prospect of food. One of the other slaves manages to kill something and while all the other slaves rush at it She-Hulk just begs for some. Her captor kicks her in the face. She-Hulk says that she must have food and water. Her master takes a bowl and fills it up with leaking sewage. He pours it down her throat as she gags. He throws her down and is then called away. She-Hulk then meets Pearla. Pearla tells She-Hulk how she used to rule this land until the Psycho-Man arrived. Pearla says that she knows where Psycho-Man and the other Fantastic Four are. She-Hulk is afraid to act, but Pearla encourages her to fight the fear. She tells her that it is a false fear implanted by the Psycho-Man. She-Hulk’s captor returns and sticks a spear into Pearla’s shoulder. He lifts her up with it and says that he is going to make captain for capturing her. He shouts down She-Hulk again, but Pearla tells her that she is one of the Fantastic Four and that she has great strength and courage. She-Hulk’s captor turns to Pearla, but She-Hulk taps him on the shoulder. When he turns his head She-Hulk lays him out with a punch. She-Hulk breaks off the stick from the spear, and starts to carry Pearla out. The other guards come to face her, but She-Hulk says that she has been breaking her back for four days for them and now she is ready to break some heads. After a while She-Hulk smashes through the wall to find the Human Torch has been looking for her and the recently escaped Psycho-Man. Suddenly they hear a scream. Reed and Sue are fine; Sue apparently used Psycho-Man’s own device on him. Later the people are rejoicing and She-Hulk listens to the singing.

Secret Wars II #3- When the Beyonder briefly decides to subjugate the world, She-Hulk is seen on her hands and knees bowing to Beyonder.

Avengers #259- As Captain America is returning to Avengers mansion She-Hulk and Wyatt are leaving. She-Hulk tells Cap that they are joining Reed and Sue for dinner.

Secret Wars II #5- Boom Boom calls the Avengers with the whereabouts of the Beyonder. She puts a time bomb on him. After it explodes both coasts of the Avengers and the Fantastic Four attack. Cap calls it off when he realizes that Beyonder isn’t fighting back. Beyonder walks off upset that Boom Boom betrayed him.

Fantastic Four #285- Alicia shows Sue and She-Hulk a sculpture she did of She-Hulk. She-Hulk says that she is honored. She says she only wishes that she had asked Alicia to do one of her as Jennifer Walters since she can’t transform back and forth anymore. Torch shows upset because some kid set himself on fire to be like him. Jen goes off to get some tea. As Torch says he no longer wants to be the Torch the Beyonder shows up. He says that he is intrigued by Johnny’s distress. She-Hulk grabs Beyonder in a half nelson. Beyonder and Torch fade out of the room.

Fantastic Four #288- Human Torch is responding to his sister’s call from Doctor Doom’s castle to find that She-Hulk and Wasp are already there smashing Doombots. Reed shows up too. She-Hulk suggests a round of “Hail hail the gang’s all here” after they beat the bad guys. Suddenly Dr. Doom arrives. He says that he admires her power and sensuality. He regrets their first meeting will be there last. Doom activates a concussion ray. She-Hulk struggles closer and closer, but even with her enhanced body She-Hulk fails and collapses. When they wake up they are all in cages. She-Hulk is in a prison designed for the Thing- a web woven of unbreakable molecular chains. She-Hulk doesn’t see anything and thinks Doom is messing with her. She tries to put her arm through, but receives a cut from her invisible bonds. Doom explains to them all how his mind escaped certain death using the Ovoid method of mind transfer into a passerby. Doom is now trying to remake his body, but both science and magic have failed. He summons the Beyonder thinking he can control him as he would a spirit. As Beyonder is about to kill Doom, Reed realizes something. Beyonder confirms that the Dr. Doom from the Secret Wars was a Doom from the future. Killing Doom now might destroy time and thusly perhaps even the Beyonder. Beyonder restores Doom to his own body, and creates a time loop by sending him to the Secret Wars. Reed hustles everyone out before Doom reappears in the present. He says he would rather face Doom on his terms.

Avengers: Emperor Doom- She-Hulk is mind controlled by Doom as he takes over the planet. She-Hulk is later freed when Doom decides that he doesn't want to rule a mind controlled Earth, but rather one he conquers.

Incredible Hulk vol. 2 #316- She-Hulk bursts through the door of the hospital where Bruce Banner is in a coma after being separated from the Hulk. She-Hulk tells the doctor who asks her why she is there that she received an urgent message to come. Betty Ross says that she sent the message. She-Hulk meets Betty for the first time. She-Hulk asks how Bruce is. Betty says Bruce is doing poorly, and that she sent for She-Hulk because as his only living relative she may need to make decisions on Bruce's life. The doctor explains to She-Hulk that Samson had Bruce sent to him because he knew of his work in psycho-stimulation. He says it might bring Bruce out of it, but it might also drive him deeper into his coma. Later Betty comes to talk to She-Hulk. She-Hulk says that Bruce was always her friend and that he saved her life. She says that she doesn't know what decision to make for Bruce. She-Hulk decides to take the experimental drug. Bruce struggles, but wakes up from his coma.

New Mutants #37

Secret Wars II #9- She-Hulk is carrying a big machine when the Fantastic Four gets a call on the Beyonder. The Beyonder summons all the heroes to stand against him. She-Hulk just stands around with the heroes. Beyonder sends out the New Mutants under his control to fight the heroes. Warlock, dumb machine one, hits She-Hulk. She-Hulk and all the other heroes follow Molecule Man into Beyonder's base. They all rush him, but Beyonder brushes them away with one hit. Molecule Man engages Beyonder and the others attack from behind. Beyonder knocks them all away and enters the machine that will make him human. She-Hulk gets up from the rubble. The heroes decide to destroy the machine and kill the Beyonder. Reed tries to stop them all, but Molecule Man kills Beyonder.

Avengers #266- She-Hulk is with the Avengers and Fantastic Four as they attempt to do something about the worldwide trauma caused by Beyonder’s destruction of the Rocky Mountains. She-Hulk asks Hercules why he is lifting a giant rock. Hercules says that he wants to fill the giant chasm. Namor tells her to let Hercules throw his big rock and realize that his strength is useless here. Silver Surfer fails to close the chasm. Captain America realizes that they have to ask the Molecule Man. She-Hulk says that Molecule Man is a bad guy. Photon says that he may help if he realizes that the world itself would be destroyed if he does not. She-Hulk also brings up that Molecule Man isn’t really the model for mental stability. She asks what if he cracks and does more damage than good. Reed says that they don’t have any other options. They bring Molecule Man there and with Surfer’s help they restore the Rocky Mountains. After they leave She-Hulk tells Hercules that its time for them to go too. Hercules asks how tall She-Hulk is. She-Hulk tells him, and asks if Hercules is threatened. Hercules says that he isn’t and asks if he has told her of the time he was surrounded by a hundred amazon warriors. She-Hulk says that he hasn’t, but says he can do so over dinner.

West Coast Avengers vol 2 #10- Wonder Man finds She-Hulk and the new Ms. Marvel as he looks for the Thing. They tell Wonder Man that Thing collapsed and was taken to a hospital. From there Thing broke through the wall of the hospital and ran away.

Incredible Hulk vol. 2 #321- She-Hulk walks into Avengers mansion to find Reed experimenting. She-Hulk asks where their hosts are. Jarvis tells her that they've gone after the Hulk. The Fantastic Four are supposed to remain as back up, but She-Hulk feels that she needs to be there. She takes off in a quinjet. Later She-Hulk lands at the fight. She breaks up the fight and says that if anyone should be able to reach the Hulk it is she. She-Hulk slowly walks up to Hulk and says that they're friends and cousins. Hulk punches She-Hulk, and everyone decides that the Hulk must die.

Incredible Hulk vol. 2 #322- She-Hulk is stunned Hulk attacked her. Samson notices that Hulk doesn't seem to be getting any stronger. The Avengers charge Hulk with the intent to kill him. As Hulk hits Hercules She-Hulk jumps on Hulk from behind. Hulk knocks them both off. As Hulk starts to kill Wonder Man Hercules and She-Hulk punch Hulk off Wonder Man, and through four buildings. Hulk is actually hurt, and gets up slow. The Avengers start piling on Hulk. They smash him between two large rocks. All the Avengers pile on Hulk and keep pounding. They notice that the Hulk is getting weaker. After two issues of fighting Hulk drops to one knee, and the Avengers pour it on more. As Hercules prepares to deliver the killing blow Betty Banner runs over and says that they need the Hulk to save Bruce Banner. The Avengers carry Hulk to get him to Banner.

Incredible Hulk vol. 2 #323- She-Hulk helps carry the Hulk to the restraining equipment. She-Hulk remains behind after the Avengers take off. She asks if there isn't anything for her to do. Betty says no, but that Bruce will hate having to become the Hulk again. She-Hulk hugs Betty, and then takes off back to Avengers mansion.

Fantastic Four #293- She-Hulk calls in to Avengers mansion and tells Wyatt that all of Central City is not responding. She says that she and the West Coast Avengers are there and that Central City is covered by a black dome. The other Fantastic Four and Wyatt head out to Central City as well. She-Hulk watches as Iron Man creates a machine that allows him to pass through the field. He passes in, but as quickly as he flew in he is immediately expelled with broken up armor. Iron Man asks why they didn’t come in for him. Tigra tells him that he was only in there for a second, but Iron Man says that he was in there for three weeks. She-Hulk offers to bust him out of there so they can get him medical attention. Wonder Man declines and flies Iron Man back to their headquarters. After they go the black dome expands a bit. The dome seems to be expanding steadily. She-Hulk tries to push against it, but her hand passes right into it. The dome swallows her up, but before it does She-Hulk kicks Tigra out of the way so she can tell the Fantastic Four and Avengers what happened. The Fantastic Four get there and enter the dome. Inside is a futuristic Central City with a statue of the Fantastic Four erected.

Avengers #278- She-Hulk wakes the Wasp out of a sound sleep. She-Hulk apologizes for waking her from such a sound sleep. She-Hulk apologizes for not being around when the Masters of Evil took over the mansion. Wasp tells her that life is full of “could haves”. She-Hulk offers to help straighten up. Wasp has her move giant computer modules against a wall. Wasp says that she has to find a way to restock the roster. She-Hulk says that Thing is back with the Fantastic Four so she could return to active roster. She-Hulk also gives Wasp the Black Knight’s message that he was headed out to Hydrobase. Wasp and She-Hulk arrive on Hydrobase when Tyrak attacks, but he is already defeated by Photon’s dehydration. She-Hulk says that they already missed all the fun. While they’re talking Tyrak reveals that he was only feigning unconsciousness. He hits Photon first. She-Hulk hits him twice, but Tyrak drives her into the ground. Black Knight slices open the water in Tyrak’s suit. Photon dries him up, and She-Hulk gets back up to knock him out. Three days later She-Hulk sits at the Avengers meeting. Wasp thanks Thor and She-Hulk for rejoining the active roster. Wasp also nominates Dr. Druid for membership and decides to step down from being chairperson and active duty.

Avengers #279- flashback- She-Hulk sits in on the Avengers meeting. Dr. Druid is accepted as an Avengers member. Captain America asks for nominations for Chairman of the Avengers since the Wasp just resigned the post. Captain Marvel is nominated but she says she isn’t sure if she is ready. Thor says that if she has any doubts she should decline. He says that he would accept the leadership. She-Hulk tells Thor that she isn’t going to sit by and let him bully Captain Marvel out of the job. The meeting is postponed until cooler heads can prevail.

Avengers #279- She-Hulk takes her beach gear to the sand on Avengers Hydrobase Island Facility. She-Hulk comes upon Black Knight swinging away with his sword at a large rock. He doesn’t seem to be making any impact. She-Hulk asks if he needs any help. Black Knight says he was just practicing his precision. He taps the rock and it falls apart. She-Hulk applauds and says that maybe they should put Black Knight in charge. She-Hulk asks if Knight thinks Captain Marvel will accept the nomination. Black Knight hopes so because he doesn’t want it. She-Hulk says that she would run for it before letting Thor get it. She says that Thor is too high and mighty for her. She-Hulk tells Black Knight to call her Jennifer. Suddenly She-Hulk spots a giant monkey thing coming at them. Black Knight doesn’t seem to see it. She-Hulk leaps at, and through, it. Dr. Druid laughs. He says he didn’t expect She-Hulk to react so quickly. He made her see the monkey thing. She-Hulk tells Druid that she enjoys a joke as much as anyone but warns him to watch himself, as he might not like her sense of humor. She-Hulk walks off with her stuff. Captain Marvel winds up accepting the nomination.

Avengers #281- Hercules has been kidnapped from the hospital. She-Hulk holds a giant probe on her shoulder that is trying to find ion or power traces from whoever took him. Dr. Druid is trying to detect any mental detection, but there aren’t any signs. The nurse fingers Thor as the man on the monitor as the man she saw taking Hercules. Thor thinks he sees something and rushes after it. Thor disappears, as the matter is for gods alone. The team stands around trying to think what Thor’s problem is and that perhaps he is being controlled. While they talk She-Hulk gets bored and grabs a cherry Italian ice. She thinks to herself that they need action, not talking. Suddenly something takes control of She-Hulk. She-Hulk throws the crated up probe at the Avengers, and then starts throwing cars and tearing up lampposts. Photon can see that She-Hulk’s eyes are glazed over and that she is being controlled. Photon jolts She-Hulk. It melts the lamppost, but She-Hulk is not stopped. Photon keeps pouring it on until She-Hulk finally drops. She gets up still struggling the word “kill”. Dr. Druid moves in and uses his mind to strengthen She-Hulk’s will. She-Hulk asks Druid what happened. The man who gave her the water ice tells her to ignore her bearded friend. She-Hulk swings at Druid. She throws Cap aside. Black Knight guesses that the Italian ice guy drugged her. Photon blasts the guy unconscious and She-Hulk is freed. A blur with a cape and wings on the helmet passes by. Photon moves faster than him and finds out that it is Hermes. In Olympus, Thor is defeated by Hephaestus and Ares. Dionysis was the Italian ice vendor, and he grabs Druid by the throat. She-Hulk punches Dionysis off Druid. Dionysis knocks She-Hulk out with the steam from a beverage. The Avengers are all defeated. Hours later they awaken in Olympus. Zeus says that they must die for the injuries they inflicted upon his son Hercules.

Avengers #282- Neptune captures Namor for Zeus and delivers him to Cerebus. Namor escapes due to a mysterious ally. He shows Namor where he will find the other Avengers are being held captive. Namor sees that She-Hulk’s hands are chained to Black Knights so if she attempts to rip free she will tear his arms off. Namor dresses as a guard. He takes Cap’s shield and throws it at the chains that bind She-Hulk and Black Knight. She-Hulk helps Namor fight while Dane frees the others. Thor is not there. Suddenly thousands of troops are upon them. The Avengers start to smack them around. She-Hulk says that she has had enough. She grabs one by the head and demands to know where Thor is being held. A few moments later Namor and She-Hulk are attacking Pluto and Cerebus who have Thor captive. Black Knight cleaves the massive stone on Thor’s chest while Photon blasts his chains. Thor confesses his brittle bone problem Hela gave him. Pluto says that here in Hades he is supreme sovereign and he could obliterate with but a gesture, but that Zeus has ordered their deaths by torment. Pluto says that he plans to carry that out. The Avengers run. She-Hulk pushes a giant statue down to block the path they took. The Avengers start heading back to Olympus to get Thor’s hammer. Pluto blasts the Pathway to Infinity apart trapping them.

Avengers #283- Photon blasts through all of Pluto’s war machines. The troops start attacking. She-Hulk tries to attack Pluto. But Pluto blasts her with Hadean fire. Pluto blasts a large chunk of rock above the Avengers. Thor catches it, but is in excruciating pain doing so. Thor throws the rock into the hole in the bridge. The Avengers run over. Thor says that Pluto couldn’t do more because his power is limited outside of Hades. They arrive back in Olympus. She-Hulk and Namor uproot two Centaur guards. The Avengers meet up with the man who assisted Namor before. They learn that Zeus thinks the Avengers are responsible because of Hercules ramblings as he lies in his coma. They decide that their only chance is to get other gods to help them reason with Zeus. Namor and Photon go see Namor’s ally Venus. She-Hulk and the others go get Thor’s hammer back. Hephaestus and Athena are there. She-Hulk fights Hephaestus as the others fight his living metal automatons. Molten metal starts to spill and She-Hulk and Thor save them from it. Venus, Namor, and Photon arrive to speak of Odin’s misunderstanding. They decide they must enlist Apollo’s help. At Apollo’s Dr. Druid tries to cure Hercules. Zeus discovers them there and blasts everyone. The Avengers are forced to rise and fight.
