Wonder Man vol. #25- Simon cuts a deal with Blackheart to help him fight Mephisto if he brings Alex back to life. Wonder Man then has Alex project an image of Hela invading Mephisto's realm. Mephisto realizes that it is "the Flores woman". Wonder Man tackles Black Talon and starts pounding on him. Simon says he wants Talon to take his friends out of there. Talon agrees since he isn't getting the reward Mephisto promised. They gather up everyone, including Reaper, and teleport back. Later at Alex's house the other members of the Crazy 8 are gathered around Jaime's body. They're worried she is dead until suddenly Wonder Man, Alex, Beast, and the Reaper's dead body teleport back to the house. Alex freaks when she sees Jaime's body lying there. She picks her up and Jaime's body wakes up. The Crazy 8 agree to give Simon his power back, but all apparently secretly hold onto some. Wonder Man says goodbye to them all until he can figure out his new powers. Simon says that when he comes back he wants things to be different between them. Alex says he can start by finding her a new place to live.

Iron Man annual ‘99- Iron Man has the Gloria, Spider, Aundray, and Lahoya warn the others that there is a serial killer on the hunt for beings with ionic energy.
