Wonder Man vol. 2 #24- Wonder Man's agent asks Gloria where Wonder Man is. She says that Simon moved out, and nobody has seen or heard from him since Miss Flores passed away. She says she hopes that Wonder Man isn't in trouble with the police. Later Gloria tries to comfort Jaime who is crying for her dead mother. She tells Jaime that the Crazy 8 will do whatever they can for her. Gloria says that when Wonder Man returns he will help her also. Jaime says that Wonder Man doesn't care about anyone. He was gone when it happened and when she died. Gloria leaves to go shopping.
Wonder Man vol. 2 #25- Jaime in her spirit form contacts Gloria. She says that the Crazy 8 are needed to help Wonder Man battle demons at her house. Gloria says she had hoped that they would never have to become the Crazy 8 again, but that she would contact Lahoya, Aundrey, and Argus. She tells Jaime that she cannot find Spider and Ginger. Later at Alex's house the other members of the Crazy 8 are gathered around Jaime's body. They're worried she is dead until suddenly Wonder Man, Alex, Beast, and the Reaper's dead body teleport back to the house. The Crazy 8 agree to give Simon his power back, but all apparently secretly hold onto some. Wonder Man says goodbye to them all until he can figure out his new powers.
Iron Man annual ‘99- Iron Man warns Gloria, Spider, Aundray, and Lahoya that because of their low level ionic powers that they may be in danger. Gloria asks if their lives are in danger. Aundray says that the Crazy 8 weren’t really well known. Iron Man says that it doesn’t have anything to do with reputation, but ionic energy. Spider says that this doesn’t sound all that serious. Iron Man pulls Spider up by his shirt and says he wants him to contact the Flores family personally. Iron Man places guards outside and gives them numbers to Stark Solutions. Count Nefaria stands outside the window watching them talk.
