Wonder Man vol. 2 #22- Ginger is looking for Simon at the hospital, but only finds Spider. She says that she smells evil, and they find Simon's clothes on the floor near an energy burned wall. Suddenly two cloaked figures arrive and ask where Simon is. One picks up Spider by the shirt. Ginger says to put him down, and the other cloaked one says to do so. The one cloaked figure tells her to forget about Simon because he will never be her's. The other cloaked one recognizes the magic burn, and they pass through the wall.
Wonder Man vol. 2 #24- Spider wonders how it is that Wonder Man keeps appearing in his outfit when he gave them the only one he had. Ginger says that she received some letters from the courts that they found out Spider was getting into dangerous situations with her. They are investigating if she should be his guardian or not. Spider says there is no way they're taking him away from his sister. Ginger wonders why she is such a "danger-freak". She wonders why she started the Crazy 8 instead of being responsible like Alex was. She decides to go on the run with Spider so they can't take him away, but when she gets to the door she bumps into Enchantress, Executioner, and Baron Zemo. Later Zemo says that the boy and the woman have been sent to the other realm.
Wonder Man vol. 2 #25- Ginger and Spider are found by Jaime in her spirit form in Mephisto's realm. Jaime prepares to take them out of there, but she suddenly hears her deceased mother. Jaime takes them home, but then heads back for her mother. Later at Alex's house the other members of the Crazy 8 are gathered around Jaime's body. They're worried she is dead until suddenly Wonder Man, Alex, Beast, and the Reaper's dead body teleport back to the house. The Crazy 8 agree to give Simon his power back. Wonder Man says goodbye to them all until he can figure out his new powers. Spider asks Jaime why she looks sad. He asks if she feels guilty about holding back some of Wonder Man's power. She asks how he knew. He says he held some back too, and that he thinks she will find they share a lot in common.

Iron Man annual ‘99- Iron Man warns Gloria, Spider, Aundray, and Lahoya that because of their low level ionic powers that they may be in danger. Gloria asks if their lives are in danger. Aundray says that the Crazy 8 weren’t really well known. Iron Man says that it doesn’t have anything to do with reputation, but ionic energy. Spider says that this doesn’t sound all that serious. Iron Man pulls Spider up by his shirt and says he wants him to contact the Flores family personally. Iron Man places guards outside and gives them numbers to Stark Solutions. Count Nefaria stands outside the window watching them talk.
