Inside Golden Orange Comics, a man comes up to Marlo’s counter with an entire box full of Youngblood #1’s and asks how much she will give him for them. Marlo says, “a dollar”. The guy says that a dollar a copy is outrageous since they cost him $2.50 each. He says that he bought them as an investment. Marlo corrects the guy and says that she isn’t offering a dollar a copy, but a dollar for the entire box. She goes on to tell the guy that it is people like him who have ruined the fun of comics for others. The guy asks to see the manager and Alan is called out. The guy says that Marlo was arrogant and rude. Alan says that he knows, but that Marlo is eye candy and the customers love her. The guy demands to see the owner so Marlo says, “yo!” and waves at the guy. The guy takes his box and leaves. Alan says that he would think more people would know the place was named after Marlo’s hair. He tells Marlo that she looks like she has seen a ghost. Lorraine says that she wishes she was haunting someone with an interesting life. Marlo tells Alan that she is going out to talk to Rick.
In the Microverse, the Microns are out looking for one of their own. Arcturus says that he doesn’t know about the one they are searching for being one of them. Mari says that she knew him better than Arcturus did. Arcturus wants to know what that meant. Bug asks Arcturus and Mari if they noticed that everyone is going in the opposite direction that they are.
Thirty seconds ago Marv was blasted through the wall of the palace. Visalia commands the guards to seize the alien. Marv asks what if he doesn’t feel like being seized. As Marv fights off the guards with a sword Rick asks him what he is doing. Marv says that he is waiting for his powers to charge up, and that they seem to do so more slowly than on Earth. Rick tells Marv that he has to think of a way to convince Drax to come back. Marv says that he is working on it.
Back on Earth, Rick tells him to hurry up because he can’t keep Moondragon tied up forever. Moondragon says that she is hungry and thirsty. Rick says nothing doing as then in half an hour she will have to go to the bathroom. Moondragon starts to yell at Rick but he just blasts her with more Limp Bizkit. Rick asks Moondragon if she thinks this is fun for him. Moony says that she thinks Rick is taking out his frustrations on her. A tear wells up in Moondragon’s eye and she says that she is worried about her father. Moondragon denies crying, but as Rick leans in to console her there is suddenly a knock on the door from Marlo.
Visalia tells Drax to destroy Marv in her name and for the memory of her sister Jarella. Drax leaps down at Marv, but he is blasted off by Bug. Drax leaps back up at him, but Arcturus has Mari blind him with a flash. Drax’s intelligence has reverted as he recovers from the flash. Visalia wonders why her spell is already failing. An armored man appears and says that perhaps she is not the enchantress that Jarella was. He says that just because she created the fakery of being Jarella’s sister that she shouldn’t start thinking that she is all Jarella was. Visalia asks Dexam if their love is fakery too. Visalia and Dexam embrace and from the shadows a voice says, “that little witch”. .
Elsewhere,
Kelly sits on her bed watching a campy sitcom where everyone is
perfect. Her parents come in to tell her that they have found a
place to check her into for a while so that they can help her
full time. Kelly looks at the two of them. Her face goes starry
and her parents are transformed into people like from the sitcom.
Her mother tells Kelly that dinner is in half an hour and that
Ian called and wants his ring back. Kelly says that she is going
to give it to him.
Marv is talking with Arcturus. Arcturus tells Marv that they are in the Microverse. He says that recently because of a battle against the Baron and Thanos that all the micro realms were merged into one. Marv asks them what they are doing there. Arcturus says that they have tracked one of their own, Dexam, to this place. Suddenly Drax attacks again. Marv blasts Drax with his stored up energy. Mari contacts Arcturus and says that Dexam is working with Visalia to take over the Microverse. She says that Visalia tricked someone named Drax into thinking that she loved him. Suddenly Dexam and Visalia are standing above Mari. Dexam says that Mari came a long way to die.
Back on Earth, Rick opens the door for
Marlo. Marlo asks Rick out to dinner on Friday and says that she
thinks that they have something good and that they shouldn’t
just throw it away. Rick says that he will pick Marlo up at her
place. Marlo leans down and kisses Rick. Marlo says that she has
to use the bathroom. 
Slowly Rick
remembers what is in the bathroom. Marlo looks in and sees
Moondragon bound, gagged, and blindfolded. She tells Rick that
she changed her mind. Lorraine asks what is up with the bound
bald chick. Marlo asks Rick that if she saw a tied up bald woman
in his bathroom if he would say that she was seeing things. Rick
agrees that she would be seeing things. Outside Marlo says,
“Ha” to Lorraine. Rick sits in his chair and says,
“Wouldn’t want the other kids to say I’m
chicken’ What the hell was I thinking?”
Drax wraps his hands around Marv’s throat. Arcturus blasts Marv off and says that it seems he has some news that maybe be of use.
Inside the palace, Mari dodges Dexam’s blasts. She asks Dexam how he could turn on them. Dexam says that he was tired of living hand to mouth. Arcturus tells Mari to lure them outside and gives her something to say.
Rick tells Marv to hurry up with his plan as Drax is chasing him. Marv says that the plan is in motion, but that it is still a work in progress.
Mari is outside and shouts, “Stop him! He’s trying to kill Visalia!” Instantly Drax is upon Dexam as he chokes him. Visalia calls Drax a muscle bound idiot and tells him to put him down. Visalia asks “her love” if he is okay. Drax says, “muscle bound idiot? My love?” Drax throws Dexam and Visalia out of the palace tower. Arcturus catches them. Suddenly Rick Jones is there and tells everyone that the big green guy is Drax, not the Hulk, and that Visalia is not Jarella’s sister. The people ask why they should believe him. Rick says that he is a mighty wizard and bangs his nega bands together to show them his magic. The people start attacking Visalia and Dexam. Marv says that they will go save them in a few minutes.
Legacy rating: 6 out of 10
You have to take the good with the bad. I love the K’ai thing, however I hate the Microns and always have. The subplots continue shaping up. I like getting Rick and Marlo back together. Anyway this portion of the story seems wrapped up and we’re finally able to move past Drax and Moondragon.
Chrisscross again looks highly stylized, but pretty lousy as far as storytelling goes.
