Uncanny X-Men #103- flashback- Black Tom and Juggernaut force their way back into the castle that used to be Tom’s home. The first night back they take most of the families hostage to use against Eamon O’Donnell, the castle’s caretaker. Later Juggernaut and Black Tom meet with Erik the Red. Erik hires them to kill the X-Men.
Uncanny X-Men #99- In the village of Dal’Roon, outside of Dublin, Sean Cassidy’s lawyer sends him warning of Black Tom’s plans. Black Tom confronts him afterwards. The lawyer says that Sean will stop his mad plans. Black Tom blasts the lawyer and says that Sean can no more stop him than he could stop the sun from rising.
Uncanny X-Men #101- Black Tom sees his cousin Sean Cassidy with Wolverine, Nightcrawler, Colossus, and Storm approach the castle. Black Tom tells Eamon O’Donnell, the caretaker of Cassidy Keep, to lead them in. Eamon says he won’t be a party to murder. Black Tom hits Eamon with his cane. He says that if he doesn’t want to watch his family die he will be a party to whatever he tells him to be a party to. Juggernaut tells Black Tom that he is a fool to trust Eamon, but Black Tom says that as long as he holds his family hostage Eamon will do as he is told. Eamon lets Sean Cassidy, Wolverine, Nightcrawler, Colossus, and Storm. As they walk to an 8 o’clock dinner they fall through a trap door. They fall down and find themselves face to face with Black Tom Cassidy and the Juggernaut. Black Tom says that they are the villains of the piece and that they are going to kill the X-Men. Storm collapses in a claustrophobic panic attack.
Uncanny X-Men #102- While the Juggernaut fights Wolverine, Colossus, and Nightcrawler and Storm lies in a claustrophobic panic, Black Tom leaps at Banshee. Black Tom reminds Banshee that they are immune to each other’s powers. Banshee says that Black Tom isn’t immune from a punch in the face. Juggernaut knocks out Wolverine. Nightcrawler swings down and throws the fire from the chandelier into Cain’s face. Juggernaut says that he is actually hurt. Black Tom blasts Nightcrawler for Juggernaut. They fail to notice Nightcrawler is taken away by elves. Black Tom tells Banshee that he is disappointed in him, as he hasn’t even asked him any question even the obvious ones. Black Tom says that it is a pity Banshee will die without ever knowing who paid them to kill the X-Men. Black Tom knocks out Banshee with his walking stick. Juggernaut knocks out Colossus and Storm. Juggernaut tells Black Tom that to get Xavier all they have to do is hurt his students enough and his psychic rapport with them will cause him to come running.
Uncanny X-Men #103- The elves take Nightcrawler to Eamon O’Donnell. He tells Nightcrawler about how Juggernaut and Black Tom arrived. One of the leprechauns tells Eamon and Nightcrawler that they are planning to torture the X-Men. They find Black Tom donning a neuronic tangler glove to torture the X-Men as Juggernaut watches that Colossus, Wolverine, Banshee, and Storm are all imprisoned. Juggernaut says that they don’t need any fancy glove to torture them. He says that he can torture them himself. Black Tom explains that Juggernaut would kill their bodies long before they had experienced the pain that he will inflict on their minds. Nightcrawler appears as Professor X and gets Juggernaut to chase him. Nightcrawler gets Juggernaut to charge into a machine. Black Tom says that he thought Xavier was a cripple. Nightcrawler kicks Black Tom. When “Professor X” sticks to the wall Juggernaut realizes that it isn’t his brother. Juggernaut punches the wall and breaks a hole in the wall. Storm sees the sky and uses her powers to free the X-Men. Juggernaut grabs Banshee before he can escape. Black Tom yells at Juggernaut for losing his temper. Juggernaut apologizes and picks up Banshee. They walk up to the top of the castle and tell the X-Men to come get Banshee or they will throw him down a piece at a time. Storm flies up and Colossus throws Wolverine, but then Colossus is forced to climb alone. Juggernaut throws pieces of the castle at Colossus as he climbs. Juggernaut also throws rocks at Storm, but never connects. While they are dealing with them Nightcrawler teleports up and frees Banshee. Juggernaut rushes Banshee, but Banshee screams the floor away and Juggernaut falls through. There Juggernaut battles with Wolverine, Nightcrawler, Colossus, and Storm. Black Tom and Banshee are having a man to man duel. Juggernaut’s fight with the others spills back up to the roof. Banshee flips Black Tom over the side of the castle. Juggernaut leaps off the castle to help his only friend. Juggernaut says that if they’ve hurt him he will make them pay.
Classic X-Men #11
Uncanny X-Men #122- In Arcade’s privately owned 747 heading from London across the Pacific Ocean, the Juggernaut asks Black Tom why he can’t kill the X-Men. He says that he is capable of doing it and has certainly earned the right, and not “some mincing pipsqueak, pea-brained wacko killer for hire”. Arcade introduces himself and says that he will kill Cyclops, Nightcrawler, Banshee, Colossus, Wolverine, and Storm.
Spider-Woman #37- Black Tom, Theresa, and Cain Marko ride past the San Francisco Mint on a streetcar. Black Tom tells Cain and Theresa that inside the mint is a hundred kilos of pure vibranium. It is the country’s entire supply and set to be picked up by Nick Fury tomorrow, but they are going to steal it tonight and ransom it back to them. Black Tom asks Theresa if she is nervous. Theresa says that she is a little. Black Tom says that a little fear is good, and that it sharpens the wit to keep from making mistakes. Professor X senses a powerful mutant in San Francisco and mobilizes the team to find her. That night Spider-Woman is made aware of their actions because she can hear Siryn’s scream. The police are kept busy because the scream set off every home alarm. Tom is saying how Theresa is doing him proud and that it’s too bad Banshee doesn’t know about her because it would break his heart. Spider-Woman sneaks up behind Black Tom and nerve pinches him. He drops down unconscious. Spider-Woman also defeats Siryn. Black Tom and Siryn awaken as Juggernaut warns Spider-Woman not to bother them again. He hits her to the ground. Juggernaut says that she can identify them and asks Tom if he wants him to kill her. Black Tom says that he doesn’t want to face a murder rap. Spider-Woman passes out. They leave her there and the police think that she did the break in.
Spider-Woman #38- Spider-Woman escapes and meets up with the X-Men. She tells them about Black Tom, Siryn, and Juggernaut. Black Tom stands admiring the vibranium and how he can use other countries to get the ransom up for America. The room starts to shake as Colossus was dropped from the sky. He was supposed to surprise them, but he went all the way through the ship. Black Tom tells Cain to grab the vibranium and tells Siryn to see if she can find out who they are being attacked by. Juggernaut says that it doesn’t matter because he can take anyone on the planet. Juggernaut thinks that the coast is clear, but he gets hit by lightning. Black Tom says that he will handle the vibranium and asks Siryn to run interference. Tom surmises that Juggernaut is fighting Colossus from the way the ship is rocking. Siryn mind controls Angel to fight Spider-Woman. Black Tom contacts Siryn to go after Storm, but she sends Angel after her instead. Tom figures he has to last lend a hand and shoots a beam of light at them. Colossus tricked Juggernaut into falling into the water. He stands before Black Tom. Black Tom blasts Colossus at point blank range, but Colossus is unaffected and knocks Black Tom out. Siryn is knocked out by Spider-Woman’s venom blast. Juggernaut is taken out of the fight when the ship explodes. Later as Black Tom is being arrested he curses them for hurting his niece. Spider-Woman says that he should have thought of that before letting her follow in his footsteps. Black Tom confesses but clears Siryn and Spider-Woman. He tells Storm that he leaves Siryn in her care.
Amazing Spider-Man #229- Black Tom sails into Manhattan on his pleasure craft. Tom thinks to himself that if he had more time he might’ve considered trying to bring her over under her own free will, but things being what they are he hasn’t the time. Suddenly Juggernaut walks through the door without opening it. Cain complains that he is bored. Black Tom says that soon he will have all the action he wants. Juggernaut says that grabbing some old woman doesn’t sound like action to him. Black Tom explains to Juggernaut that with the old woman’s psychic foretelling of the future that they would become unbeatable. Juggernaut says that Tom is the boss, and he’ll go get her if he says that she is important. Tom says that they will be at the docks in fifteen minutes. Cain says that he doesn’t feel like waiting. He leaps overboard and to the ocean’s floor. Juggernaut starts to walk on the ocean floor towards Manhattan. Tom wonders why Cain must be so impatient. The lady is Madame Web and she sensed Juggernaut’s coming for her. She calls Spider-Man for help. When Juggernaut gets there he unknowingly removes her from what acts as her life support system and seemingly kills her.
Amazing Spider-Man #230- Black Tom is getting anxious at Pier 23 figuring that the Juggernaut should be back by then. He looks through the binoculars and spots Cain on his way, but without Madame Web. He also spots Spider-Man following him. He watches as Spider-Man drives a feul tank into Juggernaut. Black Tom also sees Juggernaut sink into a forty-foot deep foundation of wet cement. He watches from the yacht now sailing. He sees all the authorities waiting for Juggernaut to bust out. Black Tom waits several hours but Juggernaut never comes up. Black Tom says that Juggernaut should be able to dig up from a few thousand tons of cement, but then he isn’t so sure.
Marvel Team-Up #150- Black Tom is cozying up with a bunch of women when he sees Juggernaut arrive at his party with a present. Black Tom says that he is glad Cain came to his party, but asks why he is still in his armor. Juggernaut says that once he gets that helmet bolted on it takes forever to get it back on. Black Tom tells Juggernaut to have a piece of cake, but Juggernaut tells him to open his present. Black Tom sees the ruby and picks it up. He starts to grow and rips out of his clothes. The women start to run for the hills. Black Tom tells Juggernaut to put him back, but Cain says that he doesn’t know how to do that. Black Tom punches Juggernaut out of his high rise hotel room. Black Tom is trying to read the ruby to see how to reverse the process when Juggernaut returns and punches him out the window. Juggernaut leaps down after him. Black Tom asks what is the matter with Juggernaut since he could have been killed from that fall. Juggernaut says that nothing can hurt him now that he touched the ruby. Tom finally realizes what the ruby he is holding is. Juggernaut charges Tom into a bus and it explodes. Cain says that he feels the fire. Tom says that he feels it too, and that Juggernaut is looking smaller than he did before. Tom realizes that they each have half of the power of the Juggernaut. Suddenly Spider-Man shows up and Black Tom decides that they should team up against him. Juggernaut plows into the building Spider-Man is on. Tom thinks to himself that the building should have come down. Black Tom attacks Spider-Man. Spidey tries to web Black Tom, but the webbing falls off Tom’s force field. Juggernaut is happy that Black Tom isn’t mad at him anymore. Cain apologizes saying that he didn’t think about the clothes or the women. Black Tom says that they will figure something out. Spider-Man has webbed up the entire street with webbing. Juggernaut starts to walk through it, but when he steps on the manhole cover Spider-Man pulls it out with a web line. The webbing acts as a slingshot and knocks him into Black Tom. Juggernaut is ticked because he is feeling pain. Black Tom blasts Spider-Man with one of his mutant blasts. The X-Men arrive. Black Tom faces off against Colossus. Black Tom throws a building at Colossus. Nightcrawler leaps around Black Tom punching until Black Tom gets a hold of him. Rogue touches Black Tom and absorbs his power. Black Tom passes out. The power wears off Rogue, but it doesn’t return to Tom or Juggernaut. Juggernaut gets the gem back and regains his full power. Later Black Tom wakes up as Cain is carrying him in the sewers. Tom thanks Juggernaut for his gift, and says that he understands his friend better now. He says that they should head to the yacht.

X-Force #1
X-Force #2- Black Tom stands on top of the World Trade Center with a group of guys setting up all the equipment that they would need. Black Tom decided to work for Jankos almost primarily for this reason. She had the material and the scientists needed. In exchange for her help Black Tom has agreed to kidnap the heads of all the companies trying to buy Jankos out. Black Tom says to start up the dimensional locator and teleporter because he wants to see his friend again. The equipment works and the Juggernaut is brought back to Earth.
X-Force #3- Juggernaut and Black Tom have captured the World Trade Center and the heads of many giant companies for the purposes of blackmailing. Siryn flies up to the top of the World Trade Center. She tells Juggernaut that she is there to bring him and Black Tom in. She says that she is tired of cleaning up their messes. Juggernaut smacks her, but Siryn manages to buffer the impact with a sonic scream. Siryn doubles back for more, but Black Tom blasts her. Siryn meets up with Cable and X-Force. Back inside the building Black Tom and Juggernaut confront Gideon and Roberto DeCosta, who are mutants that are rich. X-Force is attacking and Cain is magically back on top of the roof. Cable tells Warpath to go fight Juggernaut. He leaps out of X-Force’s ship and into Juggernaut. Warpath and Juggernaut fall off the edge. The rest of X-Force goes through the building. Back inside Black Tom is fighting Gideon and Roberto DeCosta. Black Tom blasts Gideon, but Sunspot gets through and punches Tom. Tom channels some energy through his cane and smacks DeCosta with it. Cable shoots Black Tom, but Tom explains that he has plastique through the building and that his finger is on the detonator. Spider-Man also arrives to help the hostages, but before he can get in part of the World Trade Center explodes.
Spider-Man #16- Miraculously nobody is killed or even injured by the top floors of the World Trade Center being blown away, but Black Tom is missing.
X-Force #4- Cable finds Black Tom. Tom and Cable shoot each other. Black Tom’s energy seemingly has no effect on Cable, but Cable’s bullet hurts Black Tom. He falls down into an elevator shaft. Black Tom tries to surrender, but Cable just shoots him some more. Black Tom falls down the shaft, but is caught by Deadpool who says that Black Tom is on Tolliver’s “hit-list”. Deadpool also teleports Juggernaut out.
X-Force #5- Deadpool arrives at Tolliver’s with Juggernaut and Black Tom. Juggernaut says that he is grateful that he got them out of there, but that Black Tom needs a doctor. Tolliver says that he will have a very talented doctor, and that they will both have to pay for services rendered.

Cyclops #1- Cyclops is ordered to take some time off from the X-Men. He goes out riding on his motorcycle through the snow. Eventually he has to stop and goes to a motel. The check in woman is flirting with Cyclops when Juggernaut and Black Tom smash in the wall. Cyclops suggests they take this outside. Juggernaut tells Cyclops to go first and throws Cyclops through a window. Cyclops unloads on Juggernaut with a full force optic blast, but Juggernaut doesn’t even feel it. Black Tom takes shots at Cyclops, but keeps missing. Cyclops shoots an optic blast behind Juggernaut and Black Tom and hits a truck causing it to explode. Tom is hurt in the explosion. Juggernaut gets ticked that Cyclops hurt his friend. Cyclops starts running. Black Tom tells Cain to get after him. Juggernaut, with tears in his eyes, stomps after Cyclops. Juggernaut claps his hands and the force knocks Cyclops to the ground. Juggernaut says that Cyclops thought he could outsmart him, but that he has changed. Juggernaut says that he even duped the government into thinking that he would work for them. Juggernaut says that he has plans now, and that killing Cyclops is going to help him start it. Cain asks if Cyclops has any last words. Cyclops says that he is glad Juggernaut doesn’t float. Cyclops blasts the ice under Cain’s feet. Cain sinks into the water below. Cyclops goes to Black Tom and demands to know who he is working for. Black Tom is going to be out in two seconds. Cyclops threatens Black Tom, but then Juggernaut is indeed out and has the check in woman. Cyclops blasts Tom’s head with a glancing blow. He bluffs Juggernaut to put the woman down or he is going to kill Tom. Cain lets the woman go and tells Cyclops that a guy named Ulysses hired them. He says that Ulysses was going to pay them two million dollars to kill him. Cyclops asks if Cain was just in it for the money why didn’t he just beat the guy up and take the money. Juggernaut says that Ulysses scared him (sigh). Cyclops hands Black Tom back to Juggernaut and tells him to go back to Ulysses and say that they did kill him.
Cyclops #2- Cyclops is stowed away on the plane that Juggernaut and Black Tom are riding back to Ulysses. The plane is on autopilot. Black Tom is telling Cain that their employer didn’t pay them to let Cyclops get away. Cain asks if he was just supposed to let Cyclops kill him. Ulysses rings in and Tom tells Cain to be quiet. Black Tom lies and says that they “neutralized” Cyclops. Tom asks about payment, but Ulysses says that the only payment mercenaries like them deserve is death. Ulysses cuts the power to the jet. Cyclops reveals himself and tells Cain to hold Tom as close to him as possible and they should survive the bail out. Black Tom asks Cyclops what he is going to do. Cyclops says that he is going to try to keep the plane up and go after Ulysses. Tom tells Cyclops that Ulysses has a base in Paraguay. Juggernaut and Black Tom leap out of the plane together.
