Master thinks to himself how he will oppose the Magus
so that he can rule the world and not Magus. Master watches on as
his Omega Flight fights Gamma Flight (should be Beta Flight but
whatever). Master says that physical combat is for lesser beings,
but that should the fight drag out that he will have to step in
or lose everything. Master admires Witchfire’s abilities and
says that she has already put up a shield that protects her and
her teammates from the Ska’r without even realizing it. He
thinks how if he had the time he would have bent her to his will,
but that because of time restraints she is just an obstacle.
Master says that she must not disturb the Ska’r anymore than
she has or he won’t have the chance to defeat the Magus.
Persuasion takes control of Omega Flight’s Bile (his touch
brings death). She orders bile to go play with Omega Flight.
Witchfire says that now they have to stop the Ska’r. Master
says that he cannot allow that. Master says that he had dismissed
them as children, but that they have done quite well. Master says
that now however they will all have to die if he is to save the
world. Master says that he found the volatile molecules of the
one called Firebug drifting about. Master says that he gathered
them up and then releases the full potential of Firebug’s
powers on them. Gamma Flight is knocked unconscious, but not
killed due to Witchfire’s shield. Master moves in for the
kill, but Tech-Noir arrives and tries to warn him. Master says
that he must lock up with Magus, but he looks up to see the
Ska’r charging them. Tech-Noir and Master are forced to
destroy them to prevent being attacked. Master tries to teleport
out so that the remaining Ska’r may feast, but Gamma Flight
is awake again and opening a dimensional interface to Ska’r
City. Master says that they are doomed to be mind slaves of Magus
when all he would ask is complete obedience.
Alpha Flight #130- flashback- Master fishes Vindicator out of dimensional limbo after he had sacrificed himself to teleport the Qwlryn planet back to its home and to teleport Alpha Flight home. Later Master spends long hours expanding Vindicator’s mind further and further until he could converse with him as an equal.
Alpha Flight #130- Master tells Alpha Flight that he is not controlling James Mac Hudson, but rather he just showed him the inevitability of man’s descent. Master says that he now sees that there is no room in the world for a Guardian…only an Antiguard. The fight erupts between Alpha Flight and Omega Flight. Master says that Alpha’s time has past, and that the future belongs to Omega Flight. Master says that he had hoped for a place for Alpha Flight in his world, but that they can’t be allowed to discredit the Hardliners (who are integral to the future of his plans). Master says that the Hardliners will gather up his future soldiers and thin the herd where necessary. Omega Flight is dominating the very tired Alpha Flight. Antiguard tells Heather that his dream of easing humanity into the next phase of its evolution is dead. Heather thinks to herself that it is dead, but with its death rises a new dream, her dream. Guardian blasts Antiguard and Master shouts “No!” Guardian starts flying around blasting all of Omega Flight. Guardian helps up Sasquatch. She says that they need him on his feet. Sasquatch says, “But Mac…” Guardian says that she knows, but says that it is time to stop looking to the past. Alpha Flight dominates Omega Flight. Master sits pondering to himself if he should get involved, as the future is finally in question. Master decides that he must intervene. Suddenly the Master unleashes a powerful energy and the air burns. Sasquatch picks up Sinew and throws him into Master. Sinew is killed when he hits. Sasquatch runs to Master and tries to hit him. Master easily dodges. He grabs Sasquatch’s arm and breaks it. He then hits Sasquatch. Wild Child tries to leap at him, but Master dodges and blasts Shaman. Master then claps his hands onto Wild Child’s head. Suddenly Antiguard starts to get up. Heather starts to reason with him. From the control room Puck activates the weapons for the assault course. They blast Master. Master destroys the machines and says that this won’t stop him, and that nothing will. Windshear encases Master in hard air. He smashes Master’s head into a tree. Beta Flight has arrived and they all start attacking Master. Master knocks them back and then protects himself within a sphere. Finally Heather reaches Hudson inside his Antiguard façade. Antiguard blasts Master. Master says that he thought they understood each other. Hudson says that he understood, but didn’t empathize. As Vindicator and Guardian blast Master together, Master says that he leaves humanity to them then. Master explodes.

Heroes for Hire #10- Master sits contemplating what he wants for dinner. Master decides to worry about that later because he has just learned that the superheroes that were thought dead have just returned from another universe. Master says that it is the heroes he is worried about, but the major villains who returned with them and might have plans of their own that might conflict with his plan. Jim Hammond sends the team on a job to retrieve Professor Wolfgang Hessler. Later Master learns of Iron Fist summoning the ancient city of Kun Lun to this dimension. Master understands that the city is linked to the heartbeat of Iron Fist, and that consideration must be given to ending Iron Fist’s life.
Heroes for Hire #11- The Heroes for Hire are all defeated by Silver Sable’s Wild Pack as they attempt to get Professor Wolfgang Hessler and stop him from selling a dangerous weapon. When Iron Fist leaves their cell to talk to Silver Sable Cage breaks out of his restraints and contacts Master. Cage tells him that he is in the dungeon like Master wanted and asks what to do now. Master explains that Hessler was in his employ until recently. When Hessler discovered what he was making he fled him. Master tells Cage to use Controller’s discs on Hessler. Cage reaches Hessler with Misty Knight and Colleen Wing (who were freed by Deadpool). Iron Fist also arrives with Silver Sable and tells them all that they were in the wrong here. Master’s image appears and tells Luke Cage to strike. Cage puts the disc on Hessler. Master tells Cage that they are downloading from Hessler’s brain and that he is sending help for Cage. Master’s men arrive dressed in full armor to help Luke Cage against the Heroes for Hire. Master’s retrieval unit comes back. Master says that he will be right there after he deals with their other “friend”. Master orders Jim Hammond to send Iron Fist and the others after him because he wants to kill Fist before Kun Lun arrives.
