Morlun

Spider-Man learns that perhaps the spider that gave him his powers wasn’t because of the radioactivity that the spider had been exposed to, but that rather perhaps the spider was selecting Peter Parker as a totem of the spider, and that the spider was passing it along before it died. Spider-Man also learns of Morlun. Morlun is one of the few totem the hunters left that walk earth, and he is ready to dine on Spider-Man. Beings like Morlun can dine on those with lesser totemistic powers, every once in but a while they must take a ‘deep drink’ from a pure totem. Morlun is over a thousand years old, and every totem that has tried to resist his hunt has died. Once Morlun has your scent he can find you anywhere. He is immensely powerful and barely seems phased by Spider-Man’s powers.
