Hulk lands in front of an eighteen wheeler tanker. The driver Corky Harmon manages to steer around Hulk, but as he does so Hulk picks up the tanker and throws it through a nearby house. Corky managed to leap from his cabin before the truck was thrown. Corky watches his truck fly through the air, and then starts to run from the Hulk. Hulk sees him running and leaps after him. Corky freaks out and climbs into nearby drainage pipe. The Hulk looks in on Corky and then rips the pipe out of the ground. Hulk starts swinging the pipe around. Corky is about to pop out of the tube when his truck explodes. Hulk looks over to watch. He throws the pipe aside and leaps towards the explosion. Hulk plows through a barn. He stands up from the wreckage and looks down on Emma Tolliver.

Jonas Tolliver scoops his daughter up into his arms and tries to run but he is trapped by the wall of flames that the exploding tanker caused. Hulk walks towards them. Jonas pulls his gun and momentarily wonders if heshould bother shooting the Hulk or if he should kill his daughterand spare her the agony of being brutalized by the Hulk. He points his gun at the Hulk and keeps it aimed at him. Hulk looks down at Jonas pointing the gun at him and laughs maniacally. Hulk lifts his fist to crush Jonas and Emma, but his other arm raises up to stop it from doing so. After a struggle the Hulk turns back into Bruce Banner before Jonas and Emma’s eyes. Jonas keeps his gun trained on Bruce.

No Excuses Rating: 4 out of 10

If you read last issue you’ve read this issue. The story only advanced maybe two more minutes. At this point we’ve been waiting eight months for an important intelligent Hulk story, but instead of getting that we get two minutes of storyline.

The art is still fantastic and counts for all four of this issue’s points as it did last issue.
