At FF Headquarters, the Thing brings in a piece of equipment to help Reed Richards run tests of She-Hulk and Weezi, to find a way to reverse their transformation.  Sue Richards, Razorback, Taryn and the Ovoid are also present. Jen, Razorback and the Ovoid fill Ben in on the circumstances that led to She-Hulk and Weezi's current situation. As Reed prepares to run the tests, he asks the ladies if they are ready.  Weezi says that she is as ready she'll ever be.  Jen tells her not to worry; Reed should have everything fixed soon.  Weezi isn't worried about that… she has just come to understand why Jen enjoys being She-Hulk so much. After the test has finished, Reed tells Jen that he can't find any reason why she and Weezi haven't returned to their normal states.  As far as he can determine, they should have already reverted back to normal spontaneously by now.

As Jen and Weezi return to Jen's apartment, Jen tries to figure out why they haven't turned back to normal yet. They get inside to find Wyatt waiting for them.  Jen runs forward and throws herself into his arms, grateful to have the man she loves with her while she deals with this situation.  Wyatt embraces her with wide eyes, asking what happened to her.  He said he came back from Washington as soon as he got her message, but that she didn't say what was going on. Jen says she figured this news would be better in person. Over lunch, Jen tells Wyatt what happened to her and Weezi.  Wyatt is also puzzled why they haven't changed back on their own, since Reed said they should have. The conversation is interrupted by a loud boom from outside.  They rush onto the terrace and see a supervillain on a rampage!  Jen, Weezi and Wyatt race down to the street, and see that the villain has moved on into Central Park! Wyatt shoves Jen out of the way and shields her with his body when a tree is thrown in their direction!  As they get back to their feet, Jen explains to the readers that Byrne couldn't decide on a villain for this issue, so they left it open for the readers to pick the bad guy or gal themselves.

Jen is about to go confront the villain, but Weezi reminds her that she doesn't have powers anymore.  Weezi charges in and starts fighting, and Wyatt is impressed at her display.  Jen points out that Weezi might be showing more guts than brains, since despite her new powers, she is still 50 years out of practice in hand-to-hand crime fighting!  Jen and Wyatt go running after her to see what they can do to help!

Meanwhile, Reed and Ben are flying along on a hovercycle to find Jen and tell her what they've learned.  As they fly overhead, they spot Weezi's battle in Central Park! Ben jumps off the cycle and joins in the fight! Together he and Weezi finish off the villain in a matter of moments!

With the fight over, Reed tells Jen that he has discovered the reason that she and Weezi haven't reverted to their proper forms. He tells her what happened when Dr. Doom had used the mind-transfer technique on him, and how Doom had to concentrate to keep his mind in Reed's body.  Jen asks what that has to do with her and Weezi, since they aren't trying to stay in the wrong bodies.  Reed tells her that unfortunately, one of them is! Jen is shocked, and asks Weezi if she is really keeping her body deliberately.  Weezi is ashamed to admit it, but is forced to admit that she likes having the body of the She-Hulk. Reed says that as long as Weezi desires to remain in Jen's body, consciously or not, there is no way they can reverse the transformation!

The story is good, but the issue suffers from too much exposition.  Byrne has a bad habit of filling up several pages with flashbacks and recaps at the expense of new story material. I realize that in this case there was an extra need to refresh readers on what was going on, since there had been a fill-in story between issues, but this is excessive, in my opinion. The "choose your own villain" gag was cute, but maybe they should have saved it for an issue that didn't have so many flashbacks.  As it is, it made the issue feel even thinner. The twist with Weezi wanting to keep She-Hulk's body is interesting, but I'm not sure why she'll still have the body even if she only wants it subconsciously. After all, Reed said that it took concentration to maintain the transfer--can Weezi concentrate unconsciously? Anyway, despite that little quirk, it is still an interesting plot twist.
